And, the news has just come through, play abandoned for the day. So it's a rather soggy end to the first day of England's season. But it's been a fascinating 53 overs. All Sri Lanka at 83 for 5 - and they'll still be fairly happy with the score - but Hales and Bairstow have played very well to bring England back.
